AMD Wireless TV
AMD wants to offer an alternative to Intel Widi. To this are working together with software developer vivu where AMD currently have called Wireless TV gadgets product.

This new standard aims to provide wireless streaming video from any computer with AMD Fusion platform to any HDTV gadgets product, with no additional hardware and in HD. CES in the past and made a demonstration video at 720p and where users could adjust in real time the quality and characteristics of the photo.

Now they want to be increasing the range of compatible devices, including tablets, notebooks and projectors, as well as the number of formats and files types in order to transmit documents and presentations. It appears that looks good, but the fact that AMD gadgets product needs a Fusion may limit widespread adoption of similar to what happens with the Intel standard.
